Important Notice

A206 QUEENS ROAD SURFACING SCHEME

Essential maintenance works to replace the worn out carriageway in Queens Road between the junctions of James Watt Way and Bexley Road is due to commence on 31st March.

The works are expected to take up to 3 weeks to complete. To enable the road to be re-surfaced followed by anti-skid works, a programme of night works will be undertaken between 7pm and approximately 2am.

For this work to be carried out, Queens Road will be closed and diversions will be signed for those affected. The traffic management for the closures will be set up and removed each night so that the road network will operate as normal, when surfacing works are not taking place.

Bus services will be affected by the closures. Some buses will be put on diversion and unavoidable delays may occur. We will update information on the routes affected asap.
