Level One
Brief description: An introduction to the skills, qualities and knowledge required for the Childcare sector. The courses aims to embed a professional work ethic and provides the underpinning knowledge required for progression to further study/ or employment and will give students a valuable introduction to Childcare.
Entry requirements: Entry is based on assessment and interview, good attendance record and motivation and willingness to work hard and attend regulary to achieve the qualification.
Qualification: Diploma in Caring for Children
Duration: 2 years – First year – Award in Caring for children and Second year – Diploma in Caring for Children
