Level One
Brief description: Students will learn to develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the Hair /Beauty sector
Introduction to Hair & Beauty, presenting a professional image in a salon and supplementary skills.
The course aims to embed a professional work ethic and provides an underpinning knowledge required for progression and will give students a valuable introduction to the Hair/Beauty industry.
Entry requirements: Entry is based on assessment and interview, good attendance record and motivation and willingness to work hard and attend regulary to achieve the qualification.
Qualification: City & Guilds Certificate in an introduction to the Hair & Beauty sector (3001-02)
