Course Description

If English is not your first language, we offer ESOL courses to help improve your speaking, listening, reading, writing and communication skills for everyday life, work and study. Our courses also include citizenship studies.

Entry Requirements

Students will take an initial assessment to determine their level

Assessment Methods

Assessment throughout the course including class work and external examinations in speaking & listening (Students may also take reading and writing if the tutor considers they are ready).

Qualifications

City & Guilds ESOL Skills for Life Speaking and Listening at Entry 1, Entry 2, Entry 3 or Level 1

Progression

  • Higher level ESOL courses
  • Students who achieve Level 1 may progress onto various Level 2 vocational courses or employment
