Course Description
This course is designed for those who have little or no knowledge of ICT seeking a route into jobs which require some knowledge of spread sheets, word processing and database packages in Microsoft Offi ce. There are 8 units, three core work related units and options including: PC Systems, Using the Internet and IT Applications.
Entry Requirements
Entry is based on a combination of previous experience, an interview with College staff and an appropriate level of English and Maths.
Assessment Methods
A range of practical work, end of year assignment and Functional Skills examinations
Qualifications
BTEC Level 1 Diploma for IT Users (ITQ), Award in Personal & Social Development and Functional Skills in English and Maths
