Assessment Methods
All units are graded as a Pass, Merit or Distinction. Students must pass each unit to get the Diploma qualification at the end of the course. Students are also required to undertake an examination in Essential English and Maths.
Qualifications
Progression
Internal progression: On successful completion of the 90 credit Diploma you can then progress onto the BTEC Extended Diploma in IT. In addition, students will gain a qualification in Essential Skills English or Maths
Progression: This course provides students with a nationally recognised vocational qualification BTEC Extended Diploma in IT and the skills to develop or advance their career in a range of computer related industries. Alternatively, students can progress onto a Degree course at university.
