Course Description
The Level 2 Diploma programme is an excellent starting point for studying Art & Design in a College environment. Students complete studio and workshop assignments on different themes each term. Drawing, Painting, Fine Art, 3D Design, Graphic Design, Photography and Contextual Studies are taught on the programme.
Entry Requirements
Assessment Methods
All units are graded as Pass, Merit or Distinction. Students must pass each unit to get the Diploma qualification at the end of the course. Students are also required to undertake examinations in Essential (Functional) Skills English and Maths.
Qualifications
BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Art & Design and Essential (Functional) Skills in English and Maths
Progression
BTEC 90 Credit Diploma in Art & Design, Graphic Design & Photography. Employment in the creative industries.
