Course Description
An industry highly commended course. The course highlights play as the route for young childrens learning.
This course enables the students to have sound knowledge and understanding of the needs of 0-8 years of age group.In addition, students will gain a qualification in Essential Skills English or Maths.

Course work including assignments, presentations, external set and marked assignments and placement assessments.
Qualifications
BTEC National Subsidiary Certificate in Childrens Play, Learning and Development (birth up to 8 years)
Progression
Internal Progression Year 2: On successful completion of the 1 year BTEC National Subsidiary Certificate students can then progress onto the BTEC Extended in Childrens Care, learning and development.
Progression: Employment in nurseries or BTEC National Diploma in Childrens Play, Learning and Development (birth up to 8 years)
