Course Description

This course provides opportunities to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes, essential for successful performance when working in the Health & Social Care industry.

Students study a number of units, including:

  • Communication with Adults and Children in Health and Social Care
  • Investigating rights and responsibilities at work
  • Job opportunities in Health and Social Care
  • Role of a carer
  • In addition, students will gain a qualification in Essential Skills English and Maths.
