Course Description
This course is designed to prepare students for active participation in the management of business It includes a wide range of personal skills and the experience demanded by employers. Studying for a higher education award in business will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to establish a career in business. In particular, the specialisation (option choice) will equip students for entry into those professional areas.
Assessments reflect the way in which businesses work today, with a combination of individual and group projects with exams when required by professional bodies. Incorporated into the course is the students’ knowledge and development of analytical skills using specialist software packages. Course tutors combine extensive practical experience with consultancy with academic research providing a platform for critical reflection on business problems.

Entry Requirements
HND Business - 100 UCAS Points and GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent. BA Business - 180 UCAS Points and GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent.

Lectures, Tutorials/seminars/workshops, Library work, Reading, Case study analysis, On-line research, On-line support, Directed self study, Discussions, Formal and informal group work, Computer based simulations.
Qualifications
Awarded by the University of Greenwich: HND/BA (Hons) Business Management
Progression
Students who complete the HND successfully may transfer to the third year of the BA Business delivered on an alternative University Campus.
