How we work with Employers
Bexley College has established long-term relationships with a number of key employers both locally and further afield, through our Apprenticeship/work-based learning schemes and several customised courses offered by our commercial training division ‘Transform Skills’.
Our Construction Division has relationships in place with major players and established companies within the sector who have looked to Bexley to provide workplace training and specialist skills in all the building trades. This relationship applies to young learners looking to take their first steps in a construction career through to skilled operatives who fulfil their mandatory training with us on day-release mode. Every step of their training at Bexley see apprentices working with skilled professionals in dedicated workshops. Equally the Key Skills element of their courses are reinforced, including all the aspects of Health & Safety training which is critical when working in hazardous conditions.
On the commercial side, the Transform Skills Division is responsible for delivering bespoke and specialised training to a number of key companies in the region, as well as our Distance Learning programme which enrols students across a wide region of the South East and Kent.
We are highly committed to delivering programmes that are tailored to fit the culture and business objectives of the company client, as well as the personal needs of each and every individual whom we are training in a flexible and cost effective way. Our Clients range from blue chip companies to small and medium sized enterprises and we have an exciting range of courses that can suit these range of clients.
