Course Description

This course is designed to give you a more advanced level of brickwork skills to allow you to progress from the Level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying. Course content: You will learn about handling masonry materials, interpreting drawings, working in teams and the important Health & Safety considerations of the trade. You will study all aspects of brickwork covering levelling and plumbing, setting out and gauging as well as the construction of cavity, garden walls and wall arches. You will be required to supply safety footwear, as well as any necessary stationery

Entry Requirements

The FCA or CAA Level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying

Assessment Methods

This includes multiple choice papers, assignments, health and safety test, practical assessments and unit tests.
