Course Description

This is a popular pathway for those over the age of 19 years who have a keen interest in the law and legal system. This is one of only a few discrete law pathways in London and Kent, so, on successful completion, students will be fully prepared for studying law at university. Students study the English Legal System; Contract, Criminal and European law as well as civil liberties and tort.

Entry Requirements

No formal qualifications are necessary but students must have a very good standard of written / oral English to study this course. Students must take an assessment and attend an interview with the course tutor.

Assessment Methods

In preparation for university, assessment includes exams and assignments.

Progression

This is usually to university to study for a qualifying law degree (LLB) or a BA in Business & Law. Progression is also possible to ILEX.
