Course Description

This course is designed for 16-18 learners who speak English as a second language and do not have the GCSE grades required to apply for vocational courses in the College. You will improve your English language, Maths and ICT skills and have a choice of vocational options, giving you the chance to try out subjects such as Art, Construction, Hair and Beauty, Gardening and Care to help you choose the right career pathway. You will also do a work experience placement

Entry is based on an English language assessment

Assessment Methods

Assessment is by examination for English, Maths and ICT and by a portfolio of work for other subjects.

Progression

Vocational Courses at Bexley College or other Colleges.

Qualifications

City & Guilds ESOL, Functional Maths, ICT, a Certificate in a Vocational Study, Award in Personal and Social Development.
