This part time course requires learners to be employed or working as a volunteer with children in Key stage 1 and 2. Learners attend college for 3 hrs per week term time only.
Level 2 Literacy and L2 Numeracy Work placement of minimum of 40 hours
Portfolio of evidence, activities, presentations and evidence of placement
Employment as a Teaching Assistant in primary or secondary school/support worker or Level 3 Teaching Assistant course
NCFE Certificate for Teaching Assistants Level 2
