Mark Rosser
Mark started at Bexley College in September 2004 to complete a two year City & Guilds qualification in Electrical installation, the first step on his way to becoming a qualified Electrician.
Back then Mark had just completed his GCSE’s at St Columba’s School in Bexleyheath, but he soon showed his enthusiasm for his course. His attendance, punctuality and behaviour at College was excellent, and he achieved distinctions at his end of year exams.
In 2005 Mark was offered an Apprenticeship at the London University Kings College, to continue his studies and work in his chosen field, Once more he applied himself, and in 2008 he completed his apprentice training and was offered a permanent job at the University as an Electrician.
Mark did not stop there. He has continued to build on his qualifications, enrolling last September at London South Bank University to study for an electrical engineering degree. In recognition of his achievements he has just been awarded his Full Framework Certificate by City & Guilds, which means he has completed ten qualifications in just four years.
Mark is very modest about his success; he just likes his subject and was very grateful for the support of his Bexley College NVQ Supervisor John Clarke. Mark is an example of a Bexley College student who has set himself a goal and gone out there to achieve it, He can look forward now to a long and successful career with excellent earning potential.
